I am Engaged!!

we are engaged! I am so excited.. minus the wedding I have to plan :0 i am not a "wedding person" per say.. and I dont like the thought of all that dress.stress.. but I am really excited to marry Dustin and just better our lives that much better.. Because I know that maybe 5 people read this blog.. LMAO.. I am going to post a pic of the ring.. too tacky to put it on facebook.. but here she is.. I also wanted to show the true joy on my face!!

Halloween

Yeah.. I finally was able to enjoy my first halloween with my Baby Olive! and what better way to celebrate.. than dressing up like a tiger?!?!? we had some rain.. but we didnt let that stop us.. Here is my little bubbas in her chicken costume. ready for trick or treating~

the big 27 !

Today is my birthday! I am 27 years old and in a very great place! I have great friends.. a beautiful baby.. and a loving man.. If every birthday can be as good as this one has been thus far.. than I will be ok :) thank you to all my friends for making it great ...

Olive.. kickin but.. and taking names..

SOOO.. we went to the Evergreen State Fair! and we came across a baby diaper derby contest.. i swore I would never enter her in a pageant.. but this was no pageant.. it was a crawling contest! Olive came in first place in the 9-12 month race.. and than she went on to the next heat and came in second!! she won a state fair onesie.. a gift card to a local pizza place.. and a building block thing for kiddies.. and a big GIANT red ribbon! I was beyond excited and proud.. I forgot about the hundred or so people watching me on stage.. and was SCREAMING with excitement.. toddlers and tierras.. here I come ;) not.. we also tried a deep fried twinkie for the first time.. it wasnt worth the 4 $ .. but it was just to try it.. not good.. I should have tried the deep fried snickers bar :( next time.. next time..

bye bye summer!

where did the time go? i know everyone says that.. but I know exactly where it went.. beach.. bbqs.. margaritas.. baby Olive.. trips to canada.. 4 weddings.. and 2 baby showers! and the hottest heat wave I can say I have ever felt to date! i am really trying to hold onto the last week or so of summer.. I am taking olive to the zoo tomorow and I want to go to the Evergreen state fair! Olive is now at the age where she no longer wants to sit in her seat.. she wants to crawl and explore the world! and I will show her everything I can.. while I am young enough to show her ;) We went to Pike Market last night.. I love and miss Seattle.. I need to go more!

We were just at a wedding in Vancouver over the weekend.. Dustins second cousin was married in west van.. and we had a great time! the wedding was beautiul and we were able to join a baby free weekend! grandma and grandpa had olive for the weekend and we were able to celebrate.. I took a couple of shots of the bride and groom and the AMAZING view we had from the reception~
